William Nassaar composes an Opera to a Soprano from Azerbigan
After a years long of friendship, the Azerbigani soprano Guilshan Ibadova asked William Nassar to write a musical for her.
for that project, William Nassar is dedicating all of his time in writing this project, and he is using translated poems of Nizar Qabbani and Mahmoud Darweesh.
The project as per Ms. Ibadova will be a new and rare experience, for the music will be a mixture of Opera, Pop, World and Rock.2017

After several attempts asking Ms. May Nasr and Wasfi Masarani not to use my original song Ala Tareeq Aytat (On the Road to Aytat) in their performances because of the misuse and ignoring the copyright and the intellectual property of the song, I am William Nassar, the original composer of the song Ala Tareeq Aytat the above mentioned names not to use my song without a written permission, whether in a performance, social media or any other form.
The above mentioned names will be responsible for the legal infringements and illegal use of the song, thus they will be subject to a legal action in addition to a compensation of $1000000, I donate willingly to the Canadian Cancer Society.
My lawyer already started filing the lawsuit and the required compensation, and will submit the forms to the Canadian copyright bureau and Society of Canadian Composers "SOCAN", as well as Immigration Canada and U.S.A. Customs.

Sir,
I am William Nassar, a Canadian born composer of Lebanese origins.
I write to you while watching the news about the horrible war and death on Syria and I feel shame of my humanity for not being able to do anything to stop it, especially after the news talking about massacres in the city of Aleppo.
I urge you to do all your best and more to stop this dirty war.
Today, I am not Charlie, neither Paris or New York, nor Lebanon or Palestine. Today I am Syria.
